Crow followed her taking his time with the spiral staircase. "Oh the opportunity to talk about the deals and trades that we all partake." The stair leading up gave perfect view of the layers of SIN save for the metal shield of wrath and the brick enclosing lust. He still smiled to himself with the angels over head and the stair way to heaven.

Pulling a key card from his sleeve and punching a few buttons on the side of his glass door lock he opened the door providing right of way for her. Speak your mind.

Camille nodded, then moved toward the stairs with gracefully swaying steps, just enough to gather the attention of anyone looking, and not at all close to being the vulgar steps many women used in this day and age, to try and gain attention.

Why thank you, I accept you'r gracious invitation, Sir.

There was something both coy and yet innocent about the way she spoke, resulting in her appearing the young adventurous yet reserved girl.

I just landed with the jet from Vienna yesterday, however I feel business of mutual benefit can be debated in solitude.

Crow gave her a smile as he half turned. Allowing his attention to remain on her as he gestured to the spiral staircase leading to his office. "Considering all things, I keep the best stock for myself." He gave her a smile as it was a rare thing that he took interest in any one patron of the club, supernatural or not. "I could use the company for a wile if you wish to talk shop or just talk."

This time, her smile reached her eyes.
how delightfull, I am Camille Sangiovanni, i actually dropped by to talk a bit.
What's good to drink?
The latter was clearly not in reference to alcohol, indicated by a very brief lick of her upper lip, while at the same time, she extended her hand to take his for a light grip, the kind one would expect from a delicate mademoiselle.

Just a few minutes after entering the club, sure enough, you spotted him. Crow was probably the best dressed man in the building, and stood out even before your Beast confirmed you were looking at another Kindred. He was casually passing through, just looking things over, and stopped to chat with one of the bartenders before he noticed you. Then he made his way through the crowd, around the dance floor to you. "Hi, I'm Crole Hyde" he said while offering his hand. "I thought I knew every beautiful Kindred in this city, but I didn't catch your name yet."

ooc: sorry bout the wait, couldn't summon the feel to write a post, and then i moved.

IC:

Camille began approaching the club entrance, as she sent her servant a text "don't wait up, it'll be late"

This is my kind of place, good style, exclusive in a commonly available way, I should definately try to land on good terms with this Crow.

She flashed a smile at the bouncer as she approached him, ignoring whatever line there may be, she slipped her hand into her handbag, hiding a $20 in her palm as she withdrew it.

Sorry 'bout bustin thru.

She nodded very vaguely, as she walked to mvoe straight between the bouncer and the line, "accidentally" brushing against the bounder, slipping the bill into his palm as she did so.

She let her mask dissolve for a moment, letting him see that she was here to have fun, afterall she was, this was part of her secret as such a successfull member of the Sangiovanni cartel and family, she had fun doing business with shrewd opposition.

A low rumbling from the music could be heard outside the building as you rolled near. The entrance of the building is humble and does not have much in the way of decoration. There are two features to the out side of the building. One is a bolted down bouncer stand, and the other is a large iron gate with the word "SINless" over top of it. Entry requires female escort wile women get in free. All entry fees go to the bouncer, and they are rotated each night.

The floor of the inside of the building is glass, with sculptures of people in the bottom layers of hell under your feet. And the walls to the entrance are painted with the same images with a sculpture of a hand reaching out to grab you.

The building has 7 open levels. There is a well guarded stair case leading up from the center of this massive area. This leads to the main office. There are many stair cases that one could use to go up one level.

Level one is Envy. The bar here serves a bright green fluid that gives one a heady feeling after a quick rush. The seating are ringed couches facing into TV screens which all show beauty and money randomly. To seat yourself you have to climb over the back side of the couch so you can sit around and see everyone you want.

Level two is called Gluttony. This level has a snack and drink bar all the way around the level. Sweets and foods of any kind can be found here. The drink is either a deep red wine or a blush wine to accent the taste of the food. This level has also gained the title candy land.

Level three is greed. This level is littered with women and men who act out your desires, your wishes. They have a long list of skills and costumes line the walls. This level is more often than not a strip joint than a club level.

Level four is Pride. This level has everything made of metal and bolted down. This level also has several pieces of artwork depicting certain ironical examples of pride in Man's past, usually great works that have since been torn down by war or nature.

Level five is Sloth. This level never closes, and is littered with odd beds and the level is closed off from the open core as well as sound proofed. A very calm beat plays here and the only drink going around is a wine cooler with a thick sedative mixed in it. This is often where people go or forces to go to, when they are to drunk to drive. people leave as they wake the next day.

Level six is Wrath. This level is all leather and metal. The servers are all leather clad dominas or leather masked men. The drinks are all thick alcohol and burn every step of the way. And more than once a woman has left with a whip as a gift from one of the domina.

Level seven is Lust. This level is off limits unless you are given a gold pass. This level is little more than a harem.

Each level is in the shape of a hollow square, with a balcony looking down the entire building. The roof to the building is a glass floor to the owner's office. He can be seen often looking down upon the patrons of his club. Above him the roof is painted with angels looking down with judgment in their eyes and blades in their hands.

OC: Just to give credit where it's due, Crow and SINless actually belong to a player who left us some time ago, Mortannis. I usually don't like using other people's characters like this, but I didn't want to deny you a lead just because he's not around anymore to keep up with the storylines he's written himself so deep.

Camille smiled as she got this information, thanking emilien while noting down to repay him by mentioning her appreciation of his help to the Don, Her Family name carried some weight among the mafia after all.

So now, she needed to head over to club sinless, she wondered what kind of place it would be.

Crow would know, she wondered what he would need to do to pay the man though, maybe she could try seduction.

Now that you had Emilien focusing on tracking the movement of arms, he was able to get back to you with a little more information. Someone within the family was apparently responsible, Tony Corleone, the Don's recently deceased son. He hasn't heard from him in a while though, and the Don apparently knew nothing about it until Crole 'Crow' Hyde got in touch with him a couple nights ago. You know Crow as the local owner of club SINless.

Camille sighed, but it had been expected he'd know something, still, after her chat with the sheriff, she turned ehr car off of her route, dropped by a bank, for some cash, 500$ ought to do it in total, at least she hoped it would, if she played ehr cards right, that amount of money should be covered by the recipient of the ifnormation.
she hadn't taken that much with her when she left vienna, enough that she should be able to get a base here, but not much more, income was part of the task.

She located emilien's number in her list and called him again, this time to arrange a meeting, to get the information she needed, about the weapons, or the name of someone who knew.

OC: At the moment, a large shipment of fuckyouupness is all you know.

As you passed through the Triangle, some ricers damn near took you out. About six of them blew a red light. The Sheriff picked up after a couple rings. He was apparently aware of the movement of arms in the region. But he seemed interested to know if you had any leads on where exactly they were headed.

Camille hurried to her car, no reason to stand idle or take it slow, this might gain her a positive notice from the regents side, so she jumped itno her little compact sports car and set off toward the elysium.

while driving she plugge din ehr earphone for the cell, and dialled the sheriff, this could be urgent, so she needed to move fast.

OOC: how much information do i have on that weapons delivery, other than it being fairly large, any approximate time, type and stuff, or is it jsut "a large container of bang bang boom" so to speak?

Needful Things - Camille, Crow, & Penny - Page 2 Empty Re: Needful Things - Camille, Crow, & Penny

Post by Claymore Wed May 06, 2009 2:50 am

You had been told before coming here where you could find the Regent. He or his Seneschal could often be find in the Elysium. It was a converted old three-story theater house. The outside consists of stone columns and an overhang, with a ticket booth on either side of the glass doors. The inside of the building looks bigger than one would expect. Upon entering, you would find yourself in a wide hall with marble floors and various sculptures and paintings along the white walls. Immediately to your left is an information desk, which is usually where the Master of Elysium sits and takes the name of each Kindred that enters when an official meeting has been called. However any Kindred is welcome to come and go as they please. Opposite the desk is a locked door. Kindred aren't allowed in, but it's assumed to just be a security room.

Further down the hall on either side, are rooms that were meant for smaller productions, and would have usually been rented out by non-profit groups or schools. Each one could only hold about a hundred people, and had a relatively small stage area. The 'back stage' area for these rooms simply consisted of a black curtain that masked off small spaced on either side of the stage. There were four rooms like this, the other two being on the second floor directly above. These spaces are now designated exclusively to each covenant for meetings of their own. However they're seldom used, since most Kindred prefer to meet outside the watchful eye of whomever is behind the security cameras that day.

The fifth meeting room is meant for whichever covenant happens to be in power at the time. This is the classic grand auditorium at the end of the hall, which also serves for overall city gatherings. It has balcony seats as well as box seats high up on the walls. The ceiling is very tall, and the walls are covered in dark wood and red fabric, meant for both style and acoustics. Even a Fledgling could feel like a Prince if he stood before a Kindred audience in the center of that stage.

The center of the room was a space originally meant for a mixing board, now used as a secondary security hub. During city meetings, this would be the Sheriff's post. Little is known about the security measures in place here, but it's generally believed that it could rival most banks. It was installed by the same company whom Terry Cross entrusted with his casino, by people who were then dominated to forget any details that could be harmful in the wrong hands. And Ghouls of either the Elysium Master or the Sheriff take turns watching it day and night.

The actors' dress rooms backstage have been converted to private meeting rooms for whomever feels like using them. And the third floor consists of offices for the Prince, Seneschal, and Herald, as well as several sleeping quarters for guests. Usually at least one of those officials can be found here at any given time during the night.

Little is known about the basement, specifically, where its entrance is. The original door is believed to have been bricked over by the previous Prince. It's generally believed to be either an emergency escape rout or a place to hold up if an outside threat were to take advantage of a city meeting as an opportunity to strike. Some think that since this building was originally constructed during the cold war, the basement was actually meant to serve as a bomb shelter like the one at the local high school. Other less extravagant theories include the idea that it's merely the Prince's personal Haven, which would explain why he's there as often as he is. Or that it's just a storeroom, kept secret purely as a red herring.

Camille smiled, Fortune had favored her with something far more valuable than the sale of weapons, information.

And the soldiers were readily available, She'd have letters delivered to their adresses, asking them to meet her, as she ahd a job proosition for them.
She'd need to locate one fo these bike delivery agencies for that altter part, they were fast and alrgely reliable.

Next, she would need to contact the sheriff, he'd likely pay big, and not in cash, for her favors to assist in defending whatever valuable property the invictae had in this area.

She reached for her phone again, then decided against it, she'd try and locate him in person.

Her brother ahd done well too, he had locate djust the kind of people she needed for this job.

" brother thank you, you're always so reliable, I'm glad to have you with me, I'd like if you wrote and ensured delivery of invitations to a job interview to these men you've located, they're the kind of people who can be convinced to look the other way, while guarding, if paid properly, I'd think meeting them tomorrow night would be suitable for us, at around 1 AM in the garage down the block, I'll have to go to a meeting myself now, please arrange it, if you deliver thr invitation in person, verbally or by the letter doesn't matter, I'll leave that to you."

With that she left the door, to go searching for the obvious signs that told the location, of an "official" meeting site for kindred, she'd need to meet the local regent anyway.

Emilien got back to you a little later with news that he could supply you with enough arms for a handful of people. He also mentioned that in the process of looking into something large-scale, if that's what you were going for, he noticed a large number of weapons being delivered to that region already. There were no specifics. But something big was about to go down.

Your brother had a little more luck though. Aside from those who had come home with a purple heart, it turned out there were a few marines a reasonable driving distance away who'd been dishonorably discharged from Iraq for trying to steal a weapons cache and sell them on the black market.

Camille was looking at the city from the window of her apartment, tall buildings had that advantage, and there were several rooms in the apartment without any windows, so she didn't need to cover those either.

When she heard shuffling from the door, she turned to look at her brother.

Ah, Good you're here now, How was you'r day?
Well, we can always get back to that later, for now i have a task for you, I need you to dig out some information from the local office of government, how you go about it is entirely you'r choice, but I'd like it at the latest in two nights time, that should give you enough time to seduce some secretary or somesuch, I don't really care all that much as to the how.

She continued To give the larger man a tight hug, he was her brother afterall, And her only trusted servant.

now, for my own work, I think i will need to look into the local family, there's bound to be a mobster in this town, with some weapons he isn't using lying around, luckily, i got a few numbers back in sicily before leaving there.

She dialed the number she'd been given to Emilien's right hand man, hopefully she'd get through to the boss tonight, the family name luckily weighted heavily with the mob, and she'd done business with this guys boss back in sicily, so it should work just fine.

OOC: how do i post something in PM to the GM in a post i am writing, is that possible?

Needful Things - Camille, Crow, & Penny - Page 2 Empty Needful Things - Camille, Crow, & Penny

Post by Claymore Thu Apr 23, 2009 4:55 am

Your job here was simple. Find out what some influential people in Sky Valley need in return for some boons, haggle them down a little, and report back to some Elders in the Sangiovanni family to see what can be done. You're the go-between, the saleswoman, the one who will help the family get a foothold in this little patch of dirt while the political chaos keeps anyone from noticing.

There were a few marks you had considered, and after jsut a few days of keeping the ear to the ground, it wasn't hard to figure out what kind of offer to open the conversation with, with any one of them. The Regent of Serenity City is looking for some better security. Maybe a group of mercenaries rather than actual reinforcements so he doesn't have to admit to the Prince that he's losing control of his domain. The Sheriff is always interested in influence and information. Any kind will do. With his reputation, it's entirely possible that he knows more about what goes on in Serenity than Regent Kilpatrick.

The Carthians undoubtedly want arms. Word has it, they have plenty of souced already, but naturally they'd be willing to listen to a better offer. And a few specific names come to mine, like Gwen Crane of the AOA.

Jade LeClair of Rocktown Isl. is reported to have some interest in reliquaries. But she's also reported to have a good deal of political ambition, and for some reason is involved in some kind of deal with another of your bloodline, Donna.
