Born on Valor Prime into the powerful Mission family, not criminals so much as dedicated merchants with an aggressive posture to the Border Worlds business interests. Her father is attached to the public relations arm of the family a minor reader using that to influence his negotiations Borim Mission. Her mother owns several factories and businesses specializing in building smaller ships, manufacturing arms and armor for the Alliance and some mining operations and is simply wealthy. The two make a formidable team in the Mission Family to say the least. She has two older brothers Janus and Drake and a younger sister Nadiira.

Sarii was sent to the Persephone Companion Training School to be educated in the profession not so much for her to be supported, but Companions offer access and connections not otherwise available. Add to that she is as ambitious as her mother and wants to lead the Companions of the Border into a postion to keep out central planet rivals and gain a foothold in the growning opportunities in the border regions.

Appearance-wise she is dark, exotic looking and has atrong natural appeal bolstered by training and a fine wardrobe more practical but no one can miss she is a Companion. Personality wise she is charming, poised, highly educated for a younger Companion and far more business minded than her peers of the refined central planets. Not that she minds she finds those well plumed ladies far to impractical and rigid in their ways, and sorely undersuited for the work in the border planets. She has yet to turn away a client unless they are pretty unpleasant to be with socially, to her their money and position is more important - contacts she will be able to use later.

She is on the ship mostly because a Registered Companion makes the ship legitimate as a recreation vessel.
