Ok, now I hate PETA as much as the next man, and this gave me one of those chuckles mixed with "Seriously what the fuck are you goddamn retards thinking?" that makes your left brain look at the right and demand suicide by swallowing a half gallon of battery acid followed up by smashing your head in with a hammer until you smell bananas.

NEW YORK – The granddaughter of Cuban revolutionary leader Ernesto "Che" Guevara is at the forefront of another revolution — for vegetarianism.

Lydia Guevara poses semi-nude in a PETA campaign that tells viewers to "join the vegetarian revolution," said PETA spokesman Michael McGraw.

The print campaign is expected to debut in October in magazines and posters, McGraw said. It will be launched first in Argentina, where Che Guevara was born, and then internationally. PETA approached the 24-year-old in recent months after finding out she was a vegetarian, McGraw said.

In the ad, Lydia Guevara wears camouflage pants, a red beret, and bandoliers of baby carrots while standing with one fist on her hip and the other outstretched.

"It very much evokes the tag line of the ad, which is 'Join the vegetarian revolution,'" McGraw said. "It's an homage of sorts to her late grandfather."

Che Guevara was a Marxist leader who played a pivotal role in Fidel Castro's rise to power in Cuba. He was executed in Bolivia in 1967.

The ad is PETA's first campaign promoting vegetarianism in South America.

"We say the best way to save animals is not to eat them," McGraw said.

He said others who have promoted vegetarianism for PETA include Paul McCartney, Forest Whittaker and Alicia Silverstone.

Now, pay attention to the part about 'it very much evokes the tag line of the ad...' and of particular note: It's an homage of sorts to her late grandfather.

The guy in the battlestar viper pilot costume is one of my exboyfriends. He’s one of the last people I expected to see in a photo with you. lol He does all his own costuming. He is a really talented seamstress, or whatever the term is for a guy who sews. lol

Yeah, must be a different set of Mandalorians. My Uncle-in-law is a really talented costumer. He and his friends took 1st place in the costume contest last year with their Mandalorians but usually he does a different costume each year. Often you can’t see his face in the costumes he does so he always scares the crap out of me because I don’t know it is him. Like one year this ape from Planet of the Apes started following me around and picking pretend bugs out of my hair to eat. Then it dawned on me who it was and I sent him after J and you can expect that was funny as shit. J all but ran from him. The joke then became that my husband left me at the mercy of an ape. We were nice enough to tell him later that it was his Uncle the whole time. lmao Incidentally, he won the costume contest that year too. Looked like he had stepped right off the set of the movie.

Ok. my DA game is going to be retarded big, so with that said like most of you, I'm sure all of you would like to actually PLAY in it sometime this year.

I've got NPCs and Plots, i need help with geography, a little history, and some general descriptions.
Ecomony, politics, and mortal stuff. Like a tourist guide but leaning more towards the factual.

That said. I'll give out anywhere between 25 and 75 EXP for those that put a setting together. I don't care where you get the information, as long as its correct.

I'm back from ConCarolinas. I had a pretty good time. I have some awesome pics. I'll post them as soon as Claymore sends them to me from his camera, and as soon as Iron Mike sends them to me from his camera. I might have even fallen in love with a fetish model. We stayed up until about 4:30 or so playing Rock Band. She sung, I played guitar. It was cool. I have pics and she gave me permission to post them. Got some pics with some vampire girls too. Even on the bikes.

What else... I played in a Serenity game. I got to be the Big Damn Hero too. I even got to whip out the line at the end. I kicked in the door to rescue our two captured party members, and one of them said "Took you long enough." The guy behind me coming in said something like "What? We made good time. We had to fight (insert bad guy's name)." At which point I added "You know what that makes us? Big Damn Heroes."

I played in a zombie game. I would've been the last one standing but I gave my med thing to the cute Asian girl playing so she could not die. Meh.

Uh, what else... I got NINJAD!

I got killed by Boba Fett too! But then we made up and became friends later when I high-fived him for his jetpack.

Rev got arrested by Mandalorians. Somebody took a bounty out on him. I wonder who that was.

I have to get a costume to be a Viper pilot for next year's con.



On the other hand... I was gone for like 3 days and there was a total of 2 posts. Two posts, and a bunch of chitchat in the chatbox from people who needed to post, and then cleared logs so I couldn't catch up. That makes me unhappy.
