Allies would probably make more sense. The AOA doesn't really have much in the way of fertilizer, but you don't need it. They have other stuff that'll get the job done.

That's fine. By the way, if either of you are at a loss for ideas, there's no harm in making an Intel + Science, roll. Don't use my roller yet though, it's not quite ready.

Your idea of directing the blast by reinforcing half the truck was pretty clever. I'm not a chemist either... or an arms dealer, or a drug dealer, or a soldier... is that's fine if you want to fudge details like that, I do it all the time.

My disclaimer about any statements regarding explosives made by Penny: I'm not a chemist and most of my info comes from doing some very superficial research regarding the most basic properties of the materials being discussed. Any chemistry majors out there, please don't go apeshit on me for this stuff. Even if it's not totally true, or even completely false, I'm pretending that it works for the sake of the story.

I need to do one more experiment with my dice roller. I want to see if it's possible for a custom applet to post something to a locked thread. But for this one, I need the help of someone without administrative, moderator, or storyteller access, just so I can be certain it's the applet and not the user-permissions allowing the addition.

So someone who fits the bill, please try to use the roller and post back to me what happends. I'm now locking the result thread.

Hey just a word of caution everyone. This site tends to refresh your login status every half hour or so. So if you take a long time to write a post, and hit submit, there's a chance it'll take you to a login page instead and lose your entire post. Hitting 'back' will then only result in an empty message box. So make sure you back up what you write. I usually just like to hit CTRL + A, CTRL + C just before clicking submit. This copies everything so you can pasted it in again if need be.

And Jedi, to answer your question, yes I am going to have an NPC brake you two up. Thanks for asking.

You play Michael, right? Aside from getting an account here, there's really nothing you need to do besides post. There's one with your name on it in the IC topic. You could also post your sheet in the Character Sheet thread, and get an avatar in your 'private gallery'. I'm going to explain shortly how to get it to come up in the posts. Is that all you're asking?

Ah.. I retract some of the enthusiasm in my previous statement. That roller has a few glitchs I really need to work out before I can call it reliable. But it's coming along...

Ladies and gentlemen, we now have a fully functional dice roller applet embedded in this game... because I'm just that fucking badass. A week ago I didn't even know HTML, and now I've managed to brake the site to get my own custom shit running on it.

I need to add a couple other features to it, but getting it to actually post the results rather than just display them was the last major hurtle. The rest is just fine tuning, like adding a box to input the reason for the roll, and having the option of displaying the results of each die, rather than just the number of successes.

And from all that I've learned in the process of building that thing, a character sheet generator isn't far behind.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but how do I get everything set up?

Anyway, I am glad to see that you made the jump here. This place has been steadily growing. We've recently added a DnD game, a Werewolf the Apocalypse game, and I hear there is a V:tM Sabbat, D20 Modern, Abberant, and even another Serenity game all about to be added.

You know, Donna, maybe you might host your Changeling game here? I know Purple had mentioned something about liking Changeling. I think Ac1d had always liked it too, but had never had much experience with it.
